Ram Narayan Yadav Memorial (R.N.Y.M.) College, established on 10th August 1985 at Barhi, Hazaribag , has been a cornerstone of higher education at Barhi since its establishment. Presently it offers undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce and Vocational Courses. It is the only Degree College at Barhi Sub Division with co-educational facility and full-filling the need of higher education to the local economically deprived OBC, S.C. and S.T. students. R.N.Y.M. College is registered under society Act 1860 and also it is registered under section 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC of Govt.of India.It is permanent affiliated wing with Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag .The college has achieved NAAC accreditation and got grade "B". This college is located at Barhi, Hazaribag, 35 km away from District Headquarter Hazaribag. The college is a proud contributor to the academic and cultural landscape of Hazaribagh district, providing students with a nurturing and intellectually stimulating environment. The college provides the facility of NSS and NCC for the overall development of the students and to sensitize towards national integration. For the weaker section of the society, the college provides 100 beds of Boys Hostel facility{SC&ST}. For the smooth Transportation ,the College has Bus facility.
